In order to supply consulting services and materials that are continuously at the forefront of the technological market of their particular sectors, FIDIA S.r.l. has signed MOUs with specialized manufacturers of the highest production standards for the supply of:

• Ultra high tensile strength steel sheets with Hardwire LLC, Maryland-USA;
• Pultruded carbon and glass laminates and rebars with HUGHES BROTHERS INC Nebraska-USA.

The provision of innovative materials is guaranteed by two certificates, one of the manufacturer and one from an Italian Laboratory authorized by the Italian Minister of Transportation and Infrastructures according to the art. 59 of D.P.R. 380/2001 in reference of construction and to the law n°1086/71, dec. n°38194 of 14/01/1992 and following.

Following recent agreements with fiber sheets and composite bars producers, FIDIA wants to become the point of reference in the sector of innovation and technology for the civil engineering and architectural industry.

FIDIA is able to supply the following materials:

• Unidirectional, bidirectional sheets and grids made of:
     Glass, aramid (high or low modulus) and carbon fiber (high strength and high modulus);
• Unidirectional ultra high tensile strength steel sheets:
     3X2-12-500 Hardwire™ low, medium and high density;
• Pultruded carbon fiber rebars:
     Circular cross section (? 6-9-12mm) - ASLAN 200 CFRP Rebar;
     Rectangular cross section (2x16mm) - ASLAN 500 CFRP Rebar;
• Pultruded glass fiber rebars:
     Circular cross section (? 6-10-13-16-19-22-25-29-32 mm) - ASLAN 100 GFRP Rebar;
• Pultruded carbon fiber laminates:
     50-75-100 mm wide, 1.4mm thick, low-medium-high carbon fiber modulus;
• Glass fiber pultruded structural profiles and gratings:
     Structural I-beam,C-channel, L-channel, Wide flange, hollow tube profiles of different cross section dimensions and up to 6m length;
     Gratings and planks profiles;
• Resins for manual lay-up applications:
     Putty, primer and saturant epoxy resins;
• Resin for waterproof and special retrofit application:
     High and low tenacity polyurea.
